Jammu Kashmir Assembly Elections: Congress has released the first list of nine candidates for the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections. Ghulam Ahmed Mir has been made the candidate from Dooru, while Vikar Rasool Wani has been made the candidate from Banihal. Earlier, the National Conference had released the first list of candidates (NC Candidate First List). Surinder Singh Channi from Tral, Amanullah Mantu from Devsar, Ghulam Ahmed Mir from Dooru, Pirzada Mohammad Syed from Anantnag, Sheikh Zafarullah from Inderwal, Nadeem Sharif from Bhaderwah, Sheikh Riyaz from Doda, Dr. Pradeep Kumar Bhagat from Doda West, Vikar Rasool Wan from Banihal have been made candidates by the Congress.
