Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi have been sentenced to 17 years in jail by a court. The special court of the Federal Investigation Agency has given this punishment to PTI party founder Imran Khan and his wife in the Toshakhana-2 case. The case pertains to the purchase at a very low price of a set of expensive Bulgari jewelery gifted to Imran Khan during his visit to Saudi Arabia in May 2021. This decision was given by Special Judge Central Shahrukh Arjumand during the hearing held in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail, where Imran Khan is imprisoned.
