Chhath Puja: Today is the sixth day of Shuklapaksha of Kartik month, which is known as Chhath Mahaparva in Sanatan tradition. This festival is dedicated to Lord Sun and Goddess Shashthi i.e. Chhathi Maiya of this holy date. Today, on the third day of this holy festival related to folk faith, the believers will keep fast for the whole day without water and in the evening will offer Sandhya Arghya to the Sun God and pray for the well-being of their family and children.
