The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has stopped giving visas to the citizens of Pakistan. This information has been given by PAK Home Ministry official Salman Chaudhary. However, visas are currently being issued to those who have blue and diplomatic passports.
Pakistani newspaper DAWN quoted travel agents as saying that 70-80% of applications for first-time and single-entry visas are being rejected. However, people whose families live in UAE have more chances of getting a visa.
According to DAWN report, 28-year-old Nadeem, resident of Lahore, wanted to go to Dubai for the first time, but his visa was rejected twice. The travel agency gave the reason that people under 40 years of age are being tested more.

Visa is not being approved despite providing full-time job and bank statements. Many of its youth are troubled.
Official said- UAE did not ban granting visas
UAE and Pakistan have strong political and economic ties, yet the issue of visa rejection has been going on for months. According to Pakistani officials, UAE has not officially imposed any ban.
But for some time now, names of Pakistani people have come up in incidents of crime and begging in UAE. Due to this, new people are facing difficulties in getting visas.
UAE authorities found documents of many applicants suspicious. If any error is detected in the AI based system, the visa is immediately rejected.
4 countries where there are strict restrictions on the entry of Pakistanis
Pakistani passport is counted among the weakest passports in the world. Now the strict visa policies and entry bans of many countries have further increased the problems of Pakistani travelers. Recently, many countries have either completely banned Pakistani citizens or imposed extremely stringent restrictions.
1. India- Visa service completely stopped
India has stopped all visa services for Pak citizens in 2025. Old visas have been canceled and new tourist, business or medical visas are not being issued. This means that the entry of Pakistanis has been completely banned.
2. Israel- Strict ban on Pakistani passports
Israel does not allow entry on common Pakistani passports. Only in special cases can a Pakistani citizen be allowed to go to Israel with government permission. This is an old restriction due to lack of diplomatic relations between the two countries and security reasons.
3. Libya- Visa ban if security situation worsens
There has been a situation of instability and conflict in Libya for a long time. For this reason, it is almost impossible for Pakistani citizens to enter here. Visa applications are mostly rejected. So it’s like a complete ban.
4. Sudan- Strict rules, almost impossible to get visa
Sudan also adopts a strict policy for Pakistani travelers. Most visa applications are either rejected or not processed at all. Political situation and doubts related to documents are said to be the main reasons for this.
