One person was injured when a boat caught fire in Hussain Sagar Lake during the fireworks display at the ‘Bharat Mata Maha Aarti’ program on Sunday night, shortly after Kishan Reddy and Governor Jishnu Dev Varma left the venue. Police said that after the ‘Bharat Mata Maha Aarti’ program, firecrackers were being burst from a boat in the lake, when a rocket hit the firecrackers kept in the boat, causing the boat to catch fire.
