TCS profit down 14% to ₹10,657 crore: Revenue up 5% in Q3; Shareholders will get ₹57 dividend on every share

Tata Group company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has made a profit (consolidated net profit) of Rs 10,657 crore in the third quarter of the financial year 2025-26. There has been a decline of 14% on annual basis. In the same quarter of the last financial year, the company had made a profit of Rs 12,380 crore.

The company generated revenue from operations of Rs 67,087 crore in the October-December quarter. It has increased by 5% on annual basis. The company had generated a revenue of Rs 63,973 crore in the same period last year.

The amount received from selling goods and services is called revenue. This does not include tax. The company released its October-December quarter results on January 12.

TCS will give dividend of Rs 57 per share

The company has announced a dividend of Rs 57 per share to its shareholders. Companies also give some part of their profits to the shareholders, this is called dividend.

TCS shares fell 25% in 1 year

TCS shares closed at Rs 3,243 today i.e. on January 12, rising by 1.10% i.e. Rs 35.20. The company’s shares have risen 1% in the last one month. It has fallen by about 25% in a year. The market value of the company is Rs 11.71 lakh crore.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is an Indian multinational information technology (IT) company. It is a subsidiary company of Tata Group. TCS was founded in 1968 as ‘Tata Computer Systems’. TCS became a public listed company on 25 August 2004.

In 2005, it became the first company in India to enter the informatics market. In April 2018, it became the first IT company in the country with a market capitalization of $ 100 billion. It operates at 149 locations in 46 countries.
