Stock market opened with decline today: Sensex fell 200 points to 80,770 level, Nifty also dropped 50 points

The stock market is falling down on Friday, October 3, the last trading day of the week. The Sensex is trading at a level of 80,770 by falling 200 points. The Nifty also has a decline of 50 points, it is trading at the level of 24,780. Out of 30 Sensex’s 30 shares, 17 shares decline and 13 shares are rose.

Mixed business in global market

  • Japan’s Nikkei is trading at 45,584.54 in Asian markets at 45,584.54 and Korea’s Kospi is trading 2.70% to 3,549.21.
  • Hong Kong’s Hangseng index is trading 0.94% to 27,030.33 and China’s Shanghai Composite climbing 0.52% to 3,882.78.
  • On October 02, the US Dow Jones climbed 0.17% to close at 46,519.72. Nasdaq Composite was up 0.39% and S&P 500 was up 0.062%.

The Sensex rose 716 points on 1 October

On Wednesday, October 1, the Sensex climbed 716 points to close at 80,983. The Nifty rose by 225 points to close at 24,836 levels. 21 out of 30 shares of Sensex closed off. Tata Motors’s stock was up 5.5% after the dear.

The shares of Kotak Bank, Trent, Sun Pharma and Axis Bank closed up 3.6%. Bajaj Finance and UltraTech Cement shares declined. 37 out of 50 Nifty shares rose. NSE’s media index of 3.97%, private bank 1.97%, pharma 1.30%, healthcare 1.27%and realty 1.10%. The index of public sector banks alone closed down 0.37%.
