Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) has opened admissions for the fifth batch of its Post Graduate Diploma in Management Online (PGDM Online) programme. The two-year programme is aimed at working professionals who want to upgrade their management skills without taking a break from their careers.
SPJIMR is among a select group of management institutes globally to hold the prestigious ‘triple crown’ of international accreditations — EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA. The AICTE-approved PGDM Online programme offers flexible, industry-focused learning while maintaining strong academic standards.
Designed for professionals across sectors and locations, the programme focuses on building core management skills such as problem-solving, decision-making and negotiation. It also aims to develop socially responsible leaders with a cross-functional and integrative approach to management. Past batches have seen participants from across India as well as regions in Central and South-East Asia, representing diverse roles and industries.
The curriculum allows learners to specialise in three key areas and includes an optional international immersion to expose participants to global business practices and cross-cultural learning. In addition, students attend three on-campus immersions of five days each at SPJIMR’s Mumbai campus. These sessions include faculty interactions, workshops, live projects and discussions with CXOs and industry leaders.
Speaking about the programme, Prof. Debmallya Chatterjee, Chairperson of PGDM Online at SPJIMR, said the course is designed for professionals balancing work, family and ambition. He added that the programme helps participants move from execution-focused roles to leadership positions, while developing analytical depth and responsible leadership.

In the first year, students build a strong foundation in functional and general management. The second year focuses on micro-specialisations and includes a six-month Industry Integrated Learning Project, along with a module on innovation and entrepreneurship.
On successful completion, participants are awarded the PGDM Online diploma and gain alumni status, joining SPJIMR’s global network of over 18,000 professionals.
