On November 27, the market reached all-time high after 14 months.
Today, on the first trading day of the week, i.e. Monday, December 1, the Sensex is trading above 86,000 with a rise of 300 points. Nifty is also up by 100 points, it is at 26,300.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 27 are rising. 44 out of 50 Nifty stocks are up. In today’s trading, auto, metal and banking stocks have the highest rise. There is a slight decline in FMCG and consumer durables.
Mixed business for Asian markets
- Asian Market: Korea’s Kospi is down 0.20% and Japan’s Nikkei is down 1.91%. At the same time, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index is trading up 0.80%.
- US Market: On November 28, the Dow Jones closed at 47,716, up 0.61%. At the same time, Nasdaq Composite rose by 0.65% and S&P 500 rose by 0.54%.
FIIs sold shares worth a total of ₹17,500.31 crore in November.
- On November 28, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹3,795.72 crore in the cash segment. Whereas domestic investors (DIIs) made purchases worth ₹4,148.48 crore.
- FIIs sold shares worth a total of ₹17,500.31 crore in the month of November. Whereas, DIIs made purchases worth ₹77,083.78 crore. That is, the market is supported by domestic investors.
Sensex-Nifty closed flat on Friday
There was a decline in the stock market on Friday, November 28, the last trading day of the week. Sensex fell 14 points to close at 85,707. Nifty also fell by 13 points.
It closed at 26,203. Today there was a decline in Oil & Gas, Realty, Private Banking and IT. Media, Metal, Pharma and Healthcare closed down.

On Thursday the market made a high after 14 months
On November 27, the market reached all-time high after 14 months. Nifty touched the level of 26,310 and Sensex 86,055 during trading. Earlier, Sensex had made an all-time high of 85,978 and Nifty of 26,277 on 27 September 2024.
