Today, on the second trading day of the week, i.e. Tuesday, October 28, the Sensex is trading up 100 points at 84,900. There is a rise of 30 points in Nifty, it is at the level of 26,000.

Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 20 are rising. NSE’s PSU Banking index has risen the most. Apart from this, there is also a rise in media, metal, pharma and auto.

Mixed business in global market

  • In Asian markets, Korea’s Kospi is trading down 1.13% at 3,996 and Japan’s Nikkei is trading down 0.18% at 50,419.
  • Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index was trading 0.031% lower at 26,425 and China’s Shanghai Composite was trading 0.21% higher at 4,005.
  • On October 27, America’s Dow Jones closed at 47,544, up 0.71%. The Nasdaq Composite was up 1.86% and the S&P 500 was up 1.23%.

Today is the second day of investment in Jayesh Logistics’ IPO.

Jayesh Logistics’ IPO has opened from 27th October. Investors will be able to invest in it till October 29. The company has fixed the price band of this issue at ₹116 to ₹122. The company wants to raise Rs 28.63 crore through IPO.

DIIs bought shares worth Rs 2,492 crore on October 27

  • On October 27, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth Rs 55.58 crore in the cash segment. At the same time, domestic investors (DIIs) made net purchases of Rs 2,492.12 crore.
  • Foreign investors have so far sold shares worth ₹299.60 crore in the month of October. At the same time, domestic investors have made net purchases of ₹ 36,481.88 crore during this period.
  • Foreign investors have sold shares worth ₹35,301.36 crore in the month of September. Whereas domestic investors had made net purchases of ₹ 65,343.59 crore during this period.

The market had closed with a rise of 567 points on Monday.

On Monday, October 27, the first trading day of the week, the Sensex closed 567 points higher at 84,779. Nifty also gained 171 points and closed at 25,966.

Out of 30 Sensex shares, 22 shares closed higher. Shares of Airtel, SBI, Reliance and Zomato rose by more than 2%. Kotak Bank, BEL and Infosys closed down.

38 out of 50 Nifty stocks saw a rise. Among the sectoral indices of NSE, PSU Bank was up by 2.22%, Realty was up by 1.46%, Metal was up by 1.16% and Oil & Gas was up by 1.52%.
