Sensex trading at 81,350 down 100 points: Nifty falls by 30 points; NSE’s IT, Pharma and Selling in Banking Shares

The Sensex is trading at the level of 81,350 below 100 points on Thursday, May 19, on Thursday, May 19, on the fourth trading day of the week. The Nifty also has a decline of about 30 points, it is at 24,800 levels.

The Sensex has a rise in 12 out of 30 shares and a decline in 18. Shares of Tech Mahindra, Infosys and TCS have fallen by about 2%. Tata Motors, Titan and Kotak Bank have a slight rise.

35 out of 50 shares of Nifty declines while 15 increase. The NSE’s IT, pharma and banking shares have a decline of up to 1%. There is a slight rise in auto and realty.

Global market declines

  • In Asian markets, Japan’s Nikkei is trading at a level of 38,600 points by about 300 points. Korea’s Korea has a decline of 10 points, at a level of 2,960.
  • Hong Kong’s Hangseng index is trading 435 points (1.84%) to 23,275 and China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,360 below 29 points (0.86%).
  • On June 18, the US Dow Jones fell 0.10% to close at 42,172. At the same time, Nasdaq Composite closed at 19,546 up 0.13% and S&P 500 closed down at 5,981.

Domestic investors bought shares worth 1,091 crore on 18 June

  • On June 18, Foreign Investors (FIIs) purchased a net of Rs 890.93 crore in the cash segment and Rs 1,091.34 crore by domestic investors (DIIs).
  • So far, foreign investors have sold ₹ 4,978.11 crore in the cash segment. While domestic investors have a net purchase of ₹ 59,230.21 crore.
  • Net purchases of foreign investors in May stood at Rs 11,773.25 crore. At the same time, domestic investors also purchased a net of ₹ 67,642.34 crore in a month.

Today’s second day of investment in IPO of Erisinfra Solutions

The IPO of Erisinfra Solutions Limited is open tomorrow i.e. 18 June. Investors will be able to do bidding by June 20 for this issue. On 25 June, the company shares will be listed on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE).

Through this issue, the company wants to raise the total ₹ 499.60 crore. The company will release 2.25 crore fresh shares in the issue. In this issue, the current investor or promoter of the company will not sell a single stock through offer for sale.

There was a fall of 139 points in the market yesterday

On Wednesday, June 18, the Sensex fell 139 points to close at 81,445 on the third trading day of the week. The Nifty also declined by 41 points, it closed at 24,812 levels.

Of the 30 shares of Sensex, 10 declined while 20 declined. The shares of TCS, Adani Ports and HUL came down by 2%. Whereas, IndusInd Bank shares rose 4.44%. Titan, M & M and Maruti shares rose up to 2%.

Out of 50 shares of Nifty, 14 rose, while 36 declined. The shares of NSE auto, private bank and consumer durables rose by 0.8%. At the same time, Pharma, IT, metal and media shares fell to 1.3%.
