Top National News:

– Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has said that India will not be dictated to or pressured by any other country in matters of national security or nuclear testing, asserting that the government will take decisions based solely on the nation’s interests.

– A major technical glitch at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) on Friday led to massive chaos, with over 400 flights delayed and thousands of passengers stranded across terminals.

– The sugarcane price agitation in Karnataka flared when stone pelting broke out, damaging several vehicles, at the Hattaragi toll plaza in Belagavi district. Police personnel were deployed at the spot to bring the situation under control.

Top International News:

– Russia has called on the United States to explain what it described as “contradictory signals” about a possible return to nuclear testing, warning that such a move could provoke serious global consequences.

– Sweden is officially the world’s first cashless country, where less than 1% of transactions involve physical currency
