Palace boss Glasner is banned from driving for six months after speeding. He pleaded guilty, faces a £660 fine, and additional costs.

Speed limits caught up with Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner, and now he’ll be doing a lot less driving for the next six months.
The 51-year-old Austrian has been banned from driving for half a year after getting caught speeding on London’s Old Kent Road last July.
Glasner was clocked at 29 mph in a 20 mph zone while driving his BMW through Bermondsey in south London. With previous offences already on his record, the FA Cup-winning manager was staring at an automatic ban.
Rather than fight it, Glasner pleaded guilty in writing to Willesden Magistrates’ Court, even submitting a handwritten note promising he wouldn’t repeat the mistake.
“I fully accept responsibility for my actions and understand the seriousness of this matter,” Glasner wrote.
“I have taken steps to ensure it will not happen again.”
A magistrate handed down a six-month driving disqualification, along with a £660 fine, £130 in costs and a £264 victim surcharge.
The ruling surfaced only this week after court documents were released to Britain’s Press Association.
The timing adds another twist to a turbulent year for Glasner.
Last May, he guided Palace to FA Cup glory — the first major trophy in the club’s history — in his first full season at Selhurst Park.
But the feel-good factor didn’t last long.
Palace crashed out of this season’s FA Cup in January after a shock defeat to non-league Macclesfield, and days later, Glasner revealed he would leave the club when his contract expires at the end of the season.
The Austrian has been openly critical of Palace’s transfer policy, claiming several key players were sold while those remaining were effectively “abandoned” by the club’s hierarchy.
Meanwhile, Palace’s troubles on the pitch continue.
They face Tottenham on Thursday in a crucial Premier League clash, with Spurs just one point above the relegation zone and Palace themselves not yet safe.
