Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged E-Vitara for export in Hansalpur, Gujarat today i.e. on 26 August. This is Maruti’s first electric car. This train is completely built in India and will be exported to more than 100 countries, such as Europe and Japan.
This car will get two battery pack options of 49kwh and 61kwh. The company claims that the car will run more than 500 kilometers on a full charge. Electric SUV has been produced in Suzuki Motor Gujarat Private Limited plant since February-2025.

Price can start from 20 lakh rupees
The base model with 49kwh battery pack of Maruti E Vitara can be priced at Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). At the same time, a model with 61kwh battery pack with high power motor can be priced at Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom).
Apart from this, the price of e-allgrip AWD version can be kept at Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom). In the Indian market, E Vitara Electric SUV will compete with Mg ZS EV, Tata Curve EV and Hyundai Creta EV and Mahindra BE05.

Exterior: LED headlamps and 19-inch black wheel
Suzuki E Vitara has been developed on the new Heartect-E platform, which the company has created with Toyota. Suzuki E Vitara’s exterior design is similar to EVX concept model. Its front has thin LED headlight and Y-shaped LED DRL and integrated fog light with stylish bumpers.
Body cladding and 19-inch black wheel appear quite muscular from the mid-size SUV side. The door handle is given on C-Pillar at the rear gate. Apart from this, there is also an electric sunroof on the roof. Like the concept version in the rear of E Vitara, LED tail light with a 3-piece lighting element is given.

Interior: 6 airbag standard and electronic parking breaks
E-Vitara has dual-tone black and orange cabin. It has a chrome touch around the 2-spoke flat bottom steering wheel and vertical oriented AC vents. Its cabin has a major highlight integrated floating screen setup, which has one infotainment and another driver display.
Suzuki has not disclosed the features of E Vitara, but it is expected that Maruti’s electric car can be provided with automatic AC, ventilated front seats and wireless phone charger. At the same time, safety features like 6 airbag standard, 360 degree camera and electronic parking brakes will be available for safety.

Battery pack and range
E Vitara has been introduced in the European market with two battery pack options. This includes the battery pack option of 49kwh and 61kwh. The company has not yet disclosed the certified range of E Vitara, but it is expected that its full charge can be up to 500 kilometers. The car will also have a 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel drive option.
