Terrorists opened fire on Monday on the outskirts of Jerusalem. People were seen running away.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday condemned the terrorist attack in Israel’s capital Jerusalem. He expressed condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured to recover soon. Also said- India will not tolerate terrorism.
PM Modi wrote on X,

Today, I strongly condemn the heinous terrorist attack on innocent people in Jerusalem. We express our deep condolences to the families of the victims and wish the injured to recover early. India condemns all kinds of terrorism and maintains the policy of zero tolerance against terrorism.

In East Jerusalem, 6 people were killed and many were injured in a shootout at a bus stop on Monday. Israeli officials have blamed two Palestinians of West Bank for this attack. According to the police, both the attackers were killed on the spot.

The firing took place on the road leading to Jewish settlements in Jerusalem.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reached the spot.

12 people were injured in the attack. 7 of these are in critical condition, while 5 have suffered minor injuries.
Many people remained unconscious on the road
Israel’s National Emergency Medical Service told the media that many people were unconscious at the scene. A rescue worker said that when we came, people were falling on the road. The glass was broken, the debris was scattered here and there. We immediately helped and sent the injured to the hospital.
32 Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks in Gaza
On the other hand, 32 Palestinians died in the latest Israeli army attacks in Gaza Strip. Of these, 19 people were killed in Gaza City. Israel targeted another tall building in Gaza City, causing more than 50 buildings in this campaign to over 50.
