Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif gave an interview to Sama TV on Wednesday.
Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said that India is taking provocative action because of Bihar elections. He gave this statement on Pakistani news channel Sama TV on Wednesday.
Khawaja Asif said that Pakistan’s military action against India in May has reduced Modi’s popularity. His supporters are also criticizing him now. We shot down 6 Indian fighter jets during the conflict.

Asif said- Countries supporting India are now silent
Asif claimed that the countries which earlier remained neutral during the India-Pakistan conflict have now joined our camp and those who were supporting India are now silent. This thing will trouble India for years.
He also said that India was united only during the time of Aurangzeb. History shows that apart from the rule of Aurangzeb, India was never completely united. Pakistan was created in the name of Allah. We fight among ourselves at home, but become united when there is a fight with India.
Earlier it was said – India will be buried under the debris of the plane.
Three days ago, Khawaja Asif had threatened India and said that this time if there is a war, India will be buried under the debris of its fighter planes. He wrote on social media X on Sunday that the Indian leadership is making provocative statements to regain its lost credibility.
Asif alleged that New Delhi was deliberately escalating tensions to divert citizens’ attention from domestic challenges.
‘Chinese weapons did a great job against India’
For the last few days, provocative statements are being made continuously from Pakistan side. Two days ago, Pakistani Army spokesperson General Ahmed Chaudhary had said that Chinese weapons had done excellent work in the conflict against India in May.
He had said that we are open to all types of technology. Chinese technology worked very well. Pakistan had shot down 7 Indian fighter jets, whereas India did not shoot down even a single Pakistani aircraft.

81% of Pakistan’s weapons come from China
According to Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), 81% of Pakistan’s arms from 2020 to 2024 came from China. Pakistan is China’s biggest arms customer. Pakistani Army also uses American F-16 fighter jets.
According to SIPRI, Pakistan’s defense budget in 2024 was $10.2 billion, while India’s was $86.1 billion. However, in terms of GDP, the military expenditure of both the countries is almost equal. Pakistan spends 2.7% of the country’s GDP on defense and India spends 2.3%. Read the full news here…
