Operation Sindoor Debate in Lok Sabha Live Updates, Parliament Monsoon Session 2025 Day 7: The Parliament is gearing up for another stormy session of discussions on Operation Sindoor, as both the Centre and the opposition locked horns over the four-day conflict between India and Pakistan in May.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to address either House of Parliament at around 7 pm today to participate in the ongoing debate over Operation Sindoor.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is also expected to lead the discussion in the Lok Sabha, while Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will open the debate in the Rajya Sabha.
The Parliament began the three-day debate on the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor from Monday, following a week of disruption. The BJP and its allies hailed the Modi government for the decisive action and befitting reply given to Pakistan’s terror-sponsoring forces, and criticised the opposition for raising doubts on the capabilities of the Indian armed forces.
On the other hand, the opposition parties came down heavily on the central government over alleged security lapses and US President Donald Trump’s claim of a ceasefire between India and Pakistan. They also questioned why security agencies are not able to nab the terrorists behind the Pahalgam attack.
