Iran’s newly appointed military advisor has issued a warning to former US President Donald Trump, saying that the “final deadlines for saving America are approaching”, The Daily Star reported.
According to the report, Mohsen Rezaee, a former high-ranking Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) officer and member of Iran’s Expediency Discernment Council, has threatened to target US vessels in the Arabian Gulf.
He said Iran will “paralyse” and “sink” American vessels if provoked. Rezaee added, “The final deadlines for saving America are approaching” and warned Trump that there is not “much time left to rescue the United States from this quagmire.”

Rezaee further stated, “If you attack the infrastructure of the Islamic Republic of Iran, our response will no longer be an eye for an eye, but rather a head for an eye; we will paralyze you and drown you in the Gulf.” He also referred to Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as “conjoined twins” who “differ in strategy.”
The warning comes after Trump, on March 24, extended his deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, stating that the US would hold off on power plant strikes for five days. Trump also claimed on his Truth Social platform that the US and Iran had held “very good and productive conversations” that could result in “a complete and total resolution” to ongoing tensions.
