NSUI workers climbed the gate of the agency and were seen raising slogans demanding a lockout.

After the NEET-UG paper leak, members of the National Students Union of India (NSUI) protested outside the National Testing Agency. They were demanding a ban on NTA.

Holding posters, banners and party flags, IYC workers took out a protest march from Teen Murti Circle towards the residence of the Education Minister, but were stopped by the police.

NSUI workers had arrived with a chain-lock. These people also created ruckus outside the house of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Where these people blew fake notes. Police have taken the Youth Congress President into custody.

Here, the United Doctors Front (UDF) has filed a petition in the Supreme Court demanding dissolution of the National Testing Agency (NTA) in the case of NEET-UG 2026 paper leak and exam cancellation.

Actually, the papers of NEET-UG-2026 examination held on May 3 were leaked. After this the agency decided to cancel the examination. Now this exam will be held on 21st June.

Demand from Supreme Court to form a new institution in place of NTA

Advocate-on-record Ritu Reniwal and advocate Mahendra Kumawat have filed the petition. In this, a writ has been issued demanding instructions to the Central Government to dissolve NTA. In its place, a National Testing Body should be formed through a law passed by the Parliament.

Youth Congress’s allegation – Education system has collapsed under NDA government.

The protesting Youth Congress alleged that the education system has completely collapsed under the rule of the BJP-led NDA government. In the last 12 years, papers of 89 exams have been leaked and the NEET exam papers themselves were leaked four times. Protesters said this raises questions about the reliability of the system.

An IYC activist alleged that BJP has created such a corrupt system that only children from rich families will get seats and jobs, while students from poor families will have to suffer the consequences.
