The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the revised NEET PG Round 3 counselling 2025 schedule. The counselling process has resumed after a brief pause and the registration process ends today, January 31 with the seat allotment result set to be declared on February 3. The updated notification is available on the official website, mcc.nic.in.

The Directorate General of Health Services India announced on X, “NEET PG Round 3 Counselling has resumed with facility for new registrations and additional seats added — providing more opportunities for eligible candidates. Candidates are advised to participate and exercise their choices accordingly.”

As per the updated schedule, the round 3 NEET PG choice filling is scheduled from January 31 to February 2, while choice locking starts on the evening of February 1 and remains open until the morning of February 2. The seat allotment processing is set for February 2, with results announced on February 3. Candidates who are allotted seats must report to their respective colleges between February 4 and February 11.

NEET PG 2025 Round 3 Cutoff Marks

The qualifying percentile for reserved category candidates ranges from minus 40 percentile to zero percentile, allowing those with scores as low as minus 40 out of 800 to participate in Round 3 counselling. For the general category, the qualifying percentile is the 7th percentile, while for persons with disabilities, it is the 5th percentile. This means that candidates scoring 103 out of 800 in the general category and 90 in the disabled category are eligible for counselling.

The counselling process includes 50 per cent All India Quota seats, and 100 per cent seats from deemed universities, central universities, and Armed Forces Medical Services institutions. A stray vacancy round is anticipated after the conclusion of round 3 counselling if there are still vacant seats.
