The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the tentative schedule for several key postgraduate medical exams, including NEET-SS, FMGE, DNB Final, and Diploma Final Theory Examinations. The schedule, now available on the official NBEMS website, outlines the exam dates and timings for upcoming sessions between October 2025 and January 2026.
Tentative Exam Schedule
DrNB (SS) Final Theory Exam – October 2025
Dates: October 29, 30, 31 (Wednesday to Friday)
Timings: 9:00 am to 12:00 noon
NEET-SS 2025
Dates: November 7 and 8 (Friday and Saturday)
Timings: Two shifts — 9:00 am to 11:30 am and 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm
DNB (Broad Speciality) Final Theory Exam – December 2025
Dates: December 18 to 21 (Thursday to Sunday)
Timings: 9:00 am to 12:00 noon
Final Diploma Theory Exam – December 2025 / January 2026
Dates: January 6 to 8, 2026 (Tuesday to Thursday)
Timings: 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm
FMGE – December 2025 Session
Date: January 17, 2026 (Saturday)
Timings: Two shifts — 9:00 am to 11:30 am and 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm

Meanwhile, NBEMS successfully conducted the NEET PG 2025 exam on August 3 in a single shift across the country. The exam saw a record participation of over 2.42 lakh candidates, making it the largest computer-based exam in India conducted in a single shift, as per an official press release.
Held across 301 cities and 1,052 test centres, the examination was administered under strict protocols to ensure fairness and transparency. Over 2,200 faculty members from various medical colleges and NBEMS-accredited hospitals were deployed to monitor the exam process, reaffirming the Board’s commitment to a zero-tolerance policy against unfair practices.
NBEMS stated that extensive arrangements were made to ensure the safe, secure, and smooth conduct of NEET PG 2025, in a bid to restore confidence among medical graduates following recent concerns about exam integrity.
