Time magazine has released the list of top 100 philanthropists in the world for the first time on Tuesday. It has been included in the list to Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and his wife Neeta Ambani.
Mukesh and Neeta Ambani donated Rs 407 crore in 2024 through Reliance Foundation. This foundation works for education, health, rural development and women empowerment.
Apart from this, Wipro founder Azim Premji and Jerodha’s co-founder Nikhil Kamath have been included in the list.

Time has divided those included in this list into 4 different categories. These include Titans, leaders, trailblazers and innovators categories.
Mukesh Ambani and Neeta Ambani have been included in the list under the Titans category. Wipro chairman Azim Premji has also been included in this category. At the same time, Nikhil Kamath has been included in the trailblazers category.
The name of Indian -origin American journalist and writer Anand Giridhardas has been added to the innovators category of this list.

Time has also included big names in this list like veteran investor Warren Buffett, former England football player David Beckham, Microsoft’s former wife Melinda French Gates, co-founder of co-founder Bill Gates.
Ambani Foundation gives scholarship to 10,000 youth
The Ambani family has educated more than 10,000 youth by giving scholarships. At the same time, infrastructure of more than 500 schools improved and 20 hospitals have been constructed.
