The effect of cold and dense fog is continuously increasing in the states of North India in the country. The Meteorological Department has said that there is an alert of dense fog in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Bihar, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh on Friday.
Due to dense fog, visibility reduced to 500 meters in Gorakhpur and Kanpur of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday morning. On the other hand, the minimum temperature was recorded at 5 degrees Celsius in Rajasthan’s hill station Mount Abu.
The effect of cold is not reducing in Madhya Pradesh also. Temperature was recorded below 10 degrees in 8 cities of MP. The temperature in Bhopal was recorded at 10.2 degrees. This is the third lowest temperature in November in the last 10 years.

- The effect of cold in the states of South India is less than the states of North India. There was heavy rain in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Kerala for last one week. The rain has stopped here since Thursday night. The Meteorological Department has said that there may be rain in the states of South India from November 25.
