There are good seasons, and there are bad seasons — and then there’s whatever the hell Spurs are currently enduring.

If one stat could sum up Tottenham Hotspur’s collapse this season, it’s this:

Spurs have had more managers (3) than home wins (2) in the Premier League since May 2025.

Yes, really.

For a club that lifted the UEFA Europa League less than a year ago, the fall has been swift, chaotic, and increasingly difficult to explain.

From European Highs to Domestic Freefall

The post-trophy glow has long faded at the North London club.

Despite a brief and ultimately forgettable run in the UEFA Champions League, which ended emphatically at the hands of Atletico Madrid, Spurs now find themselves 17th in the league, just one point above the relegation zone.

This, after spending over €265 million in transfers since last season’s success.

Somewhere between the spending spree and the managerial churn, the results simply stopped coming.

Managerial Merry-Go-Round

The latest chapter saw Spurs’ latest Valentine, Igor Tudor, depart “by mutual consent” after just five defeats in seven matches, barely weeks into his tenure following his February 14 appointment.

That makes it three managers in under a year, and still just two home wins to show for it.

Numbers Don’t Lie

Tottenham’s form reads like a cautionary tale:

• 2 wins in their last 22 league matches
• 1 point from the last 7 games

Relegation is no longer theoretical; it’s a very real possibility.

Alright, in all honesty, Spurs do not need much to stay afloat in the top league — a return of eight points from the remaining fixtures might be enough.

But for a side struggling to string together performances, even that feels ambitious suddenly.

What Now?

On paper, Spurs shouldn’t be here.

With attacking options like Richarlison and Dominic Solanke, emerging talents such as Archie Gray, Xavi Simons, and Lucas Bergvall, plus defensive pillars Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven, the squad has more than enough to stay up.

But somehow, all that talent hasn’t translated into results.

Through it all, the bottom line is simple: Spurs need to rediscover how to win — and quickly at that — if they wish to live and fight another day in the Premier League.
