The makers of the Malayalam film Patriot have announced a postponement in the release date of the highly anticipated espionage thriller. An official notice from Anto Joseph Film Company dated March 31 confirmed the delay. The film was scheduled to release on April 23, 2026.
According to the statement, the decision to postpone the release was due to unforeseen circumstances. The producers assured fans that they are working diligently to ensure the film meets the highest quality standards before it hits the screens.
The new release date will be revealed tomorrow (April 1, 2026) at 6:00 PM via the official social media pages of the film’s leading stars, Mammootty and Mohanlal. The announcement invites viewers to stay tuned for the update.

However, due to some unforeseen circumstances, the release of the film, which was previously set for April 23, is inevitably being postponed by a few days.
