Chhath Puja has begun on Saturday, October 25, with the Nahay Khay ritual. The festival concludes on Tuesday, October 28, with the offering (Arghya) to the rising sun. On Nahay Khay day, women wake up early in the morning, take a holy bath, perform the puja, and consume sattvic (pure) food.
