Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital is going to become the first hospital in India and the fifth in the world to get JCI Healthcare Sustainability Certification. It is the world’s largest gold standard award in sustainable healthcare.

Joint Commission International (JCI) and Geneva Sustainability Center have received this honor for working in a fair and responsible manner, adopting new methods of treatment and taking care of the patients as well as the environment.

Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital said that we will continue to lead with this purpose and make environmental protection a part of our work at every step – to create a healthy and green future for the coming generations.

The hospital was started in 2009 Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital is one of the largest and modern private hospitals in Mumbai. Spread over 17 floors and 10 lakh square feet, this hospital has a facility of 750 beds. More than 300 patients can be treated in ICU simultaneously. It has 22 operation theatres.

This hospital was established in 2009. It was built by Reliance Group in the memory of Kokilaben Ambani and Dhirubhai Ambani. The hospital is named after Kokilaben Ambani, wife of late Dhirubhai Ambani, who is the mother of Anil and Mukesh Ambani.
