NTA to release JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exam city intimation slip soon.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 city intimation slip soon. Candidates who have registered for the exam will be able to check and download the slip from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The details will also be available on nta.ac.in.
The city intimation slip will inform candidates about the city where their exam centre is located. However, the NTA has not yet announced the exact date and time for its release.
How To Download JEE Main 2026 City Intimation Slip?
Candidates can follow these steps once the link is activated:
- Visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the ‘JEE Main 2026 City Intimation Slip’ link on the homepage.
- Enter the required login details.
- Click on the submit button.
- The exam city slip will appear on the screen.
- Download it and keep a printed copy for future reference.
Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for updates related to the release of the JEE Main 2026 city intimation slip.

JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Exam Schedule
The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 examination will be conducted from January 21 to January 30, 2026. The exam will be held in two shifts each day:
First shift: 9:00 am to 12:00 noon
Second shift: 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
JEE Main Papers Details
JEE Main consists of two papers. Paper 1 is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and institutions or universities funded or recognised by participating state governments. JEE Main is also the eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs.
Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B.Arch and B.Planning courses across the country.
