JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Answer Key: Once released, the BE/BTech answer key will be available on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release provisional answer key and response sheets for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 soon. The NTA has stated the students will be able to raise objection to the answer key from January 4 to January 5. The results are scheduled to be announced on February 12.
Following the release of the JEE Main answer key, candidates will be allowed to raise objections to the provisional answer key by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question. The fee can be paid using a debit/credit card or net banking. No objections will be accepted after the deadline. Once released, the BE/BTech answer key will be available on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

After reviewing the objections, the final answer key will be released, and results will be announced accordingly. Candidates will not receive individual notifications about whether their challenges were accepted or rejected.
How To Check JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Answer Key?
Step 1. Visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Step 2. Click on the link for “JEE (Main) 2026 Session 1 – Answer Key and Response Sheet”.
Step 3. Enter your application number, date of birth, and security pin.
Step 4. View and download your response sheet and provisional answer key.
The NTA has also announced it will open the registration window for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 tomorrow, February 1, 2026, the NTA stated. The last date to apply will be February 25. The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 examination will be conducted from April 2 to April 9 in two shifts. Students must note that those who registered for the January 2026 session can also apply for the April attempt. Like session 1, the second session will consists of two papers — Paper 1 and Paper 2.
