Four-time Grand Slam champion Jannik Sinner was seen going red in the face in embarrassment after his coach, Darren Cahill, dragged him for failing a motorbike licence test. The former is currently gearing up for the Monte-Carlo Masters, where he will play Ugo Humbert in the opening round on Tuesday.

Sinner was last seen in action at the Miami Open, where he won the title by beating 21st seed Jiri Lehecka to complete the Sunshine Double.

While preparing for his match against Humbert, Sinner shared a clip from his ‘Jannik Sinner Unfiltered’ vlog, hosted by Cahill, who revealed that the Italian has failed his motorcycle licence test several times.

Sinner battled through rain delays before and during the match to complete the ‘Sunshine Double’, becoming the first man since Roger Federer in 2017 to win both Indian Wells and Miami and the first to do so without dropping a set.

In fact, Sinner, who won Miami in 2024 but missed the previous edition because of a three-month doping ban, has now clinched three successive Masters 1000 titles, a run that started with his win in Paris last year.

“It is a very, very special moment. Coming here, performing again in a very good way after Indian Wells, means a lot to me. It is something I never would have thought (I’d win) because it is difficult to achieve,” Sinner had said.

His win, combined with Aryna Sabalenka’s victory over Coco Gauff on March 28, marks the first time since 2016 that both the men’s and women’s titles at Indian Wells and Miami were swept in the same year, last achieved by Novak Djokovic and Victoria Azarenka.

It also saw Sinner gain a bit on Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz, who was upset in the third round, in the race for world number one as the clay court season beckons.
