Hyundai has introduced new Summer Edition variants of the Creta, aimed at making premium features more accessible across lower and mid-spec trims of its best-selling midsize SUV. Prices for the Creta Summer Edition start at Rs 12.06 lakh (ex-showroom), with the special editions commanding a premium of Rs 10,000 to Rs 55,000 depending on the variant.
The Summer Edition is available with the standard 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines, paired with manual and automatic gearbox options. However, the more powerful 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine remains exclusive to the higher-spec trims and does not get these updates.

With this update, Hyundai has redistributed several high-end features to more affordable trims:

A key highlight of the update is the inclusion of a dashcam across more variants. It supports multiple recording modes such as driving, emergency/event recording, vacation mode, on-demand video and photo capture, with the ability to download footage directly to a smartphone via a dedicated app.
Powertrain options unchanged
Mechanically, the Creta Summer Edition remains unchanged. Buyers can choose between the 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine (116hp) with both manual and automatic transmission options on offer. The 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine (160hp) continues to be limited to higher trims and sees no updates.
The move comes as competition in the midsize SUV segment intensifies, with recent updates like the Volkswagen Taigun facelift entering the market. By offering more features at lower price points, Hyundai is aiming to sustain the Creta’s dominance and appeal to a wider set of buyers.
