There is slight fluctuation in the prices of gold and silver today i.e. on 24th March. According to India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), 10 grams of 24 carat gold has fallen by Rs 56 to close to Rs 1.39 lakh. There is a rise of Rs 1093 in silver. It is priced at Rs 2.20 lakh per kg. Gold became cheaper by Rs 37 thousand from record high. Silver became cheaper by Rs 1.66 lakh from record high. Keep these 2 things in mind while buying gold. 1. Buy only certified gold: Always buy certified gold with the hallmark of Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). This number can be alphanumeric i.e. something like this – AZ4524. Cross check the price: Cross check the exact weight of the gold and its price on the day of purchase from multiple sources (like the website of India Bullion and Jewelers Association).
