2. Rumor of reducing 14kg cylinder to 10kg: Petroleum Ministry said – supply is completely normal, two more LPG gas tankers left from Hormuz.

The Petroleum Ministry has termed the news of filling 10 kg gas in a 14.2 kg domestic LPG gas cylinder as a rumour. Joint Secretary of the Ministry, Sujata Sharma said that the supply of domestic LPG is completely normal and people do not need to pay attention to rumours.
In the press briefing on Monday, the Ministry also said that after crossing the Hormuz Route, two tankers carrying 92,700 metric tons of gas have left for India. Earlier, some media reports had claimed that government oil companies (OMCs) are preparing to fill 10 kg gas in 14.2 kg domestic LPG gas cylinders.
