West Asia War: Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps'(IRGC) Quds Force chief Esmail Qaani issued a strong warning to Israel, saying that the latter should “get used to new regional orders” as coordinated actions by regional allies have undermined Israeli security ambitions.
In a post on X on Monday, Qaani claimed that coordinated attacks by Iran-aligned groups had disrupted what he described as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plan to expand a regional security belt. He also spoke about growing coordination among the resistance groups and the failure of Israeli strategic objectives.
He credited groups such as Hezbollah in the north and Ansar Allah in the south for exposing what he called “false assurances” by Israel.
“Netanyahu dreamed of expanding a security belt in the region, but the intelligent and courageous fire of our brothers in Hezbollah in the north and Ansarullah in the south exposed the regime’s false promises to the settlers,” the senior commander said in his post as quoted by Iranian media.
Qaani further stated that increased coordination among these groups signalled the emergence of a unified front, adding that “the war room of the resistance is one.”
“The aspiration of the martyred commanders of the resistance has been realized: the war room of the resistance front is one,” he underlined.
“Get used to the new regional order,” he told the Israeli enemy.
The message, reportedly only the second attributed to Qaani since the start of the US-Israeli military campaign against Iran on February 28, was briefly posted before the account was suspended. However, it was later amplified by Iranian state media.
What Is Quds Force?
The Quds Force, which means ‘Jerusalem Force’, is the elite external operations wing of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). It specialises in unconventional warfare, military intelligence, and clandestine operations outside of Iran to project the country’s regional influence.
The primary mission of the Quds Force is to support non-state actors and “Islamic liberation movements” abroad.
It reports directly to the Supreme Leader of Iran rather than the Iranian president or traditional military hierarchy, according to reports.
West Asia War
The Iran–US–Israel war, launched on February 28 under Operation Epic Fury, has now entered its second month with no signs of de-escalation. The conflict, which saw the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in the initial strikes, continues to intensify across the region.
Efforts to end the war have so far failed to make progress. US President Donald Trump proposed a 15-point peace plan, but Iran rejected it and instead put forward five conditions, including war reparations, the lifting of sanctions, and recognition of its sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz. Negotiations remain stalled.
