As the US-Iran war intensifies, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has threatened to target major US tech and industrial firms from April 1 in response to what they describe as terrorist operations carried out by the US and Israel.
In a statement, the IRGC named 18 companies, including Microsoft, Google, Apple, Intel, IBM, Tesla, and Boeing, warning that their regional operations could be hit.
“These companies should expect the destruction of their respective units in exchange for each terror act in Iran, starting from 8 pm Tehran time on Wednesday, April 1,” the IRGC statement said, as per state media. Tehran’s 8 pm means 4:30 pm in GMT/UTC, and 10:30 pm in India (IST).
IRGC further accused American ICT and AI firms of playing a central role in designing and executing assassinations, and announced that for every act of terror in Iran, the corresponding facilities of these companies will be struck, reported Press TV.
“Since the main element in designing and tracking targets are American and ICT and AI companies from now on, (these) main institutions will be our legitimate targets,” it said in a statement relayed by Tasnim news agency.
Which Companies Are On Target?
The IRGC named 18 US companies and warned that their regional operations could be hit. They labelled the firms as “terrorist companies” in the statement and asked residents living around these firms to leave the area “within a one-kilometre radius” and to move to a safer place.

US Responds To Threat
The White House on Tuesday (local time) responded to the threat, saying that Washington is prepared to counter any potential attacks from Tehran.
A White House official said the US military stands ready to respond to any aggression, emphasizing Washington’s defensive posture amid rising tensions.
“The United States military is and was prepared to curtail any attacks by Iran, as evidenced by the 90 percent drop in ballistic missile and drone attacks by the terrorist regime,” news agency Reuters reported, citing the White House official.
