Flat trading in the market today: Sensex trading down 10 points at 84,450; Metal and realty stocks rise, FMCG-IT falls

So far in the month of November, foreign investors have sold shares worth ₹8,300.76 crore. At the same time, domestic investors have made net purchases of ₹ 29,798.79 crore during this period.

There is flat trading in the market today i.e. on 13th November, the fourth trading day of the week. Sensex is trading 10 points down at 84,450. Nifty is also flat, it is down 4 points at the level of 25,880.

There is a decline in 18 out of 30 Sensex stocks. Shares of Tata Commercial Vehicles (TMCV), Zomato and Infosys are down. Shares of Asian Paints, Tata Steel and Bajaj Finserv have risen up to 3.3%.

Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 28 are in decline. There is a rise of more than 1% in the metal and realty sectors of NSE. FMCG and IT sectors are down.

Mixed business in global market

  • In Asian markets, Japan’s Nikkei index rose 0.059% to 51,093 and Korea’s Kospi rose 0.11% to 4,154.
  • Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index was trading 0.66% lower at 26,745 and China’s Shanghai Composite was trading 0.44% higher at 4,017.
  • On November 12, America’s Dow Jones closed at 48,255, up 0.68%. At the same time, Nasdaq Composite fell 0.26%. The S&P 500 closed 0.063% higher.

DIIs 5,127 on November 12 bought shares worth crores

  • On November 12, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹1,750.03 crore in the cash segment. At the same time, domestic investors (DIIs) made net purchases of ₹5,127.12 crore.
  • So far in the month of November, foreign investors have sold shares worth ₹8,300.76 crore. At the same time, domestic investors have made net purchases of ₹ 29,798.79 crore during this period.
  • Foreign investors sold shares worth ₹2,346.89 crore in the month of October. At the same time, domestic investors had made net purchases of ₹ 52,794.02 crore during this period.

The market had risen 600 points on Wednesday

On Wednesday, November 12, the third trading day of the week, the Sensex rose 595 points and closed at 84,467. Nifty also rose by 181 points. It has reached the level of 25,876. In today’s trading, maximum buying was in IT, Auto, Pharma and Consumer Durables shares.
