Dubai, UAE, Abu Dhabi, Iran War News Today Live Updates: The West Asia conflict has entered its fourth week, leaving behind multiple fatalities, damaged infrastructure and a deepening global energy crisis. The Iran–US–Israel confrontation has also caused significant destruction in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and other Gulf countries.

The UAE said on Monday morning that its air defence systems were responding to incoming missile and drone threats from Iran. In a post on X, the Ministry of Defence said the loud sounds heard across parts of the country were caused by air defence systems intercepting the missiles and drones.

Iran on Sunday warned that it would strike the energy and water systems of its Gulf neighbours in retaliation if US President Donald Trump follows through with a threat delivered a day earlier to hit Iran’s electricity grid in 48 hours, escalating the four-week-old war.

Iran president Masoud Pezeshkian, on X, wrote that Iran is not afraid of threats and said that Strait of Hormuz is open to all except those who are violating its soil.
