The price of a domestic vegetarian plate in India has come down by 5.76% to Rs 26.20 in May (on an annual basis). In May-2024 last year, the price of Veg Thali was Rs 27.80. Capital Market Company Crisil gave this information in its food plate cost’s monthly indicator.

Crisil reported in its ‘RRR: Rice Rota Rate’ report that the price of vegetarian plate was reduced in May in May compared to April. The Veg plate was priced at Rs 26.30 in April.

Non-veg plate also became 6% cheaper At the same time, the price of non-veg plate has come down by 6% to Rs 52.6 on a annual basis in May. In May-2024 last year, the non-veg plate was priced at Rs 55.9.
