An Oracle employee, who was among the many that were let go by the company as a part of their mass layoffs, made a post on Linkedin sharing her perspective on the situation and provided support and encouragement to others who were impacted.
“This moment does not define your talent, your value, or your future. If anything, it’s a redirection toward new opportunities where your skills will shine even brighter. Stay confident, stay connected, and keep moving forward,” Tricia Marsh, who was the senior principal Oracle Cloud Delivery and Engagement Lead.
Marsh said that she had the opportunity to be part of a company at the “forefront of innovation”, specifically during an “AI evolution”. She described her experience with delivering AI products and gaining exposure to Agentic AI as “energising and inspiring. She also said that she would carry forward the “culture of knowledge sharing and “continuous learning.
She told other employees affected by the mass firings that “this too shall pass” and advised them to be patient.
“This too shall pass. When something ends, God is already creating something new ahead, often in ways that we can’t see. Just be patient. The answer comes in stillness,” Marsh said.
