The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the exam city intimation slip for CTET 2026. Candidates who have registered for the CTET February 2026 examination can check and download the exam city slip from the official website – ctet.nic.in. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 8, 2026.

Candidates must note that the purpose of the exam city slip is to simply inform about the date and the city of the exam centres. It is not the admit card. Students will find the exam centre address, reporting time, and other crucial information on their CTET 2026 admit Cards which will be released in due course.

Step 2: On the homepage click on the link that reads “View Date & City for CTET Feb-2026″

Step 3: Now enter your login credentials like registration number and password

Step 4: Click on the submit button and your CTET 2026 Exam City Slip will appear on your screen

Step 5: Check the city intimation slip and save it for future reference

CTET 2026: Exam Details

The CTET exam consists of two papers. Paper 1 is for teaching positions in Grades 1 through 5. Paper 2 is for teaching vacancies in grades 6 through 8. Question papers will be prepared in both Hindi and English.

CTET Paper 1, for classes 1-5, will be from 9:30 am to 12 pm. The second exam, for classes 6-8, will run from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Candidates for Paper 1 must arrive by 7:30 am, with the entry closing at 9:30 am. For the second exam, candidates should arrive by 12:30 pm, with entry closing at 2:30 pm.

The CTET 2026 exam will be held offline (pen and paper-based) with multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Candidates should be aware that passing the CTET does not guarantee a job but makes them eligible to apply for teaching positions in various schools across the country.
