The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the CSIR UGC NET December 2025 application deadline till October 27. Earlier, the last date to register was October 24. Candidates who are yet to apply can check the notice and fill out the registration form through the official website at csirnet.nta.nic.in.
Fee payment can be done by October 28, according to the official notice. The application correction window will remain open from October 30 to November 1.
The CSIR UGC NET December 2025 exam will be conducted on December 18, 2025, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode in two shifts — 9 AM to noon and 3 PM to 6 PM. The paper will be available in both Hindi and English, and the English version will be considered final in case of any discrepancy.
CSIR UGC NET December 2025: Application Fees
Applicants are required to pay the application fee according to their category — Rs 1,150 for the General category, Rs 600 for EWS/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and Rs 300 for SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender candidates. The fee can be paid through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI. Those who fail to pay the fee before the registration deadline can still make the payment until October 25, 2025, 11:50 PM.
