CSIR NET 2025 Registration: The NTA has opened registration for the CSIR-UGC NET December 2025. Candidates can apply by October 24.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially opened the registration window for the CSIR-UGC NET December 2025 examination. Eligible candidates who wish to appear for the exam can register online through the official website at csirnet.nta.nic.in.
The last date to submit the application form is October 24, 2025. Candidates will have the opportunity to make corrections to their application forms between October 27 and October 29, 2025. According to the official notification, the CSIR NET December 2025 examination is scheduled to be held on December 18, 2025, in two shifts: Shift 1 from 9 am to 12 noon and Shift 2 from 3 pm to 6 pm.
This examination is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship (LS)/Assistant Professor positions, as well as for admission to PhD programmes in Indian universities and colleges.
The application fee for registration is Rs 1,150 for candidates in the General category, Rs 600 for General-EWS and OBC candidates, and Rs 325 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. Payment can be made using debit card, credit card, UPI, or net banking by October 25, 2025.
The examination will be conducted in English and Hindi, covering five major subjects: Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences.
To apply, candidates need to visit the official website, create an account, carefully fill out the application form, upload the required documents, pay the prescribed fee and finally submit the application form.
