The students at the Savitribai Phule Government Higher Secondary School in Pamgarh of Janjgir-Champa district, Chhattisgarh, went through an immersive experience of the world of planets and stars recently. Thanks to the mobile planetarium.
The students received information and gathered knowledge about the solar system and planets, similar to what is taught to students in large cities and private schools. Through the mobile planetarium, the students received comprehensive information on the solar system’s planets, satellites, and other celestial entities from the professionals. Using real-world analogies, the students were instructed on the planets’ size, the position of the Earth, and other celestial bodies.
Students went through an immersive experience of actually travelling through space inside the mobile planetarium due to the striking visual and aural effects. In addition to being instructive, the stories captivated the students and sparked conversations about science and space.
