Students seeking this scholarship can submit their applications via CBSE’s official website at cbse.gov.in. Students whose families have a gross income of up to Rs 8 lakh per annum are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

The last date to register has been extended for both fresh applications and those who want to renew the scheme. Earlier, the last date to apply was October 23, 2025.

CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2025: Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the scholarship scheme, all single girl students must have 70 per cent or more marks in the CBSE Class 10 Examination. They should be studying Class 11 and 12 in CBSE-affiliated schools with tuition fees not exceeding Rs 2,500 per month.

The board also allows NRI applicants to avail of this scholarship scheme. The tuition fee cap for NRIs has been set at a maximum of Rs 6,000 per month.

A scholar can benefit from additional concessions provided by the school or other organisations while receiving this scholarship.
