Lakhs of students who appeared for the Bihar Board 10th exam 2026 are eagerly awaiting the Bihar Board Matriculation Result 2026. The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) may announce the exact date and time for the Bihar Board Matriculation Result 2026 at any moment. According to media reports, the result is likely to be declared by March 31.
Once released, the Bihar Board class 10th results will be available on the official websites biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in and bsebexam.com. On the result day, the Bihar Board 10th Result 2026 will be officially declared through a press conference. The names of the toppers, along with their marks, will be announced, making a few students state-wide inspirations within minutes.
Scrutiny Process: Students seeking scrutiny will need to register on the scrutiny portal using their roll number and roll code, after which an ‘Application ID’ will be generated. Using this ID, they can log in and choose the specific subjects for which they want their answer copies to be re-evaluated.
To finalise the process, they must pay the prescribed scrutiny fee, generally ranging from Rs 70 to Rs 120 per subject, through online payment.
Grace Marks System: Another key aspect of the evaluation process is the handling of errors or discrepancies in question papers. If such issues are identified, the Bihar Board takes corrective action by awarding grace marks to affected students. This has significantly helped many candidates. Based on last year’s data, 16,645 students were able to pass the Bihar Board Matriculation exam due to these grace marks, turning disappointment into relief for thousands of families.
Previous Year Percentage
In the previous session, the pass percentage of boys in the Bihar Board Matriculation exam was slightly higher than that of girls. Boys achieved a pass percentage of 83.67%, while girls recorded 80.67%. Three students – Sakshi, Anshu, and Ranjan – jointly topped the exam with 489 marks each. Overall, the pass percentage stood at 82.11%, encouraging this year’s batch to hope for similarly strong performance.
