In a tragic incident, a boy was killed and several others were injured after a Maharashtra State Road Transport bus lost control and crashed onto the platform at Sinnar bus stand in Nashik on Wednesday.
The incident took place when the driver appeared to lose control of the bus as soon as it entered the bus stand. The bus drove straight onto the platform, causing chaos and panic among commuters waiting nearby. Passengers and shopkeepers rushed to pull the injured away as the bus finally came to a halt.
As per reports, the deceased child has been identified as nine-year-old Adarsh Borade. His family was returning to their village, Dapur Sinnar, after completing a pilgrimage to Pandharpur. They had been waiting at the bus stand when the accident occurred.
A CCTV footage of the incident has also surfaced, showing people scrambling for safety as the bus rammed through the area. In the video, the bus can be seen entering the Sinnar bus stand at a moderate speed before abruptly veering onto the platform.

Authorities suspect that a brake failure may have led to the mishap. However, officials have said that an investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.
The injured have been rushed to a nearby hospital, while police and transport department officials are examining CCTV footage and mechanical aspects of the bus.
