The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has announced the revised schedule for Bihar National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Undergraduate (UG) counselling 2025 round 1 today, August 13. Candidates can register and complete the application-cum-choice filling process on the official website, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
Those who missed the initial registration or application and choice filling process can now register until August 18, 2025. According to the revised schedule, previous registrations between July 30 and August 8 have been invalidated, requiring candidates to re-register as per the new schedule. Failure to do so will result in non-allotment of seats during the counselling process.
The rank card will be released on August 20, 2025, and the round 1 provisional seat allotment result will be announced on August 24, 2025. Document verification and seat reservation will take place between August 26 and 28, 2025.
The Bihar NEET UG counselling for 2025 was temporarily halted following a health department directive that required 50 per cent of seats in private medical colleges to have the same fee structure as government colleges. As a result, admissions to private institutions under the Bihar Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC) 2025 will now proceed with 100% of seats at their predetermined fees, similar to the previous year.
Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2025: Step-By-Step Guide To Register
Step 1: Go to the official website at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘UG Medical Counselling’ tab.
Step 3: Click on the link for ‘NEET UG 2025 Round 1 Registration’.
Step 4: Enter the required details, set a password, and complete the registration form.
Step 5: Pay the counselling fee online and save the payment confirmation.
Step 6: Download and print the completed counselling form for future reference.
