Sane, who joined Bayern Munich in 2020 on the back of a successful stint with Premier League unit Manchester City, is set for a medical with the Turkish champions on Thursday.

Germany and Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane is in advanced talks with Turkish champions Galatasaray ahead of his reported switch to the Super Lig outfit.
The 29-year-old, who joined the Bavarian club in 2020 on the back of a successful stint with Premier League unit Manchester City, is set for a medical on Thursday.
“Leroy Sané, with whom we have started transfer talks, is in Istanbul!”, the club posted on social media.
Sane’s contract with the Bundesliga champions Bayern is set to draw to a conclusion at the end of the season and the Turkish giants are reportedly in talks to sign the German forward on a three-year-deal.
Sane helped Bayern reclaim the Bundesliga title in 2024/25 season, after Bayer Leverkusen had won their maiden title in the previous year going unbeaten in the league, as the winger netted 11 times for the German heavyweights. The left-footer made 30 appearances for the Bavarian giants las year and set up 6 goals for his teammates.
Sane has managed to clinch the Bundesliga title four times over with Bayern since his return to Germany from England, while also winning the FIFA Club World Cup and the UEFA Super Cup once each. He was also part of the German Super Cup wining Munich side twice.
He had helped City to the PL title under Pep Guardiola, while also clinching two League Cups, two Community Shields and a FA Cup win during his time in England.
