AP TET October 2025 Exam: The Department of School Education, Andhra Pradesh, has started the AP Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) 2025 application process from October 24. Candidates can apply online until November 23, and the exam will be held on December 10 online in all districts.
The exam will be conducted for Paper-1A, Paper-1B, Paper-2A, and Paper-2B, meant for those who want to teach Classes 1 to 5 and Classes 6 to 8 in general and special schools. Each paper is 150 marks, and the minimum qualifying marks are:
60% for OC/EWS
50% for BC
40% for SC/ST/PwBD and ex-servicemen.
AP TET October 2025 Application: How To Apply?
- Visit the official website at cse.ap.gov.in.
- Click on “AP TET 2025 – Online Application” to read instructions and eligibility.
- Select “New Registration”, enter Name, DOB, Mobile, Email, and get Registration ID & Password.
- Use your credentials to log in and fill personal, educational, and category details.
- Choose Paper-1A, Paper-1B, Paper-2A, or Paper-2B depending on the classes you want to teach.
- Upload photo, signature, and relevant certificates (caste/PwBD/Ex-serviceman) as per instructions.
- Pay the application fee online via credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI.
- Review all details, click Submit, and print the confirmation page.
- Log in anytime to check application status or download the admit card once released.

About AP TET?
The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) is a state-level exam conducted by the Department of School Education, Andhra Pradesh, to determine the eligibility of candidates aspiring to become teachers in government and private schools across the state.
It is held for two categories: Paper 1 for candidates aiming to teach classes I to V (primary level) and Paper 2 for those targeting classes VI to VIII (upper primary level).
The exam is usually conducted online and tests candidates on subjects such as child development, pedagogy, language, mathematics, and environmental studies. Clearing AP TET is mandatory for teaching jobs in most schools in Andhra Pradesh, and the certificate is typically valid for seven years from the date of issue.
