- Anil Ambani’s Property Worth ₹7,500 Crore Seized, Airtel Profits Up 89% In Q2

Yesterday’s big news was related to Anil Ambani. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) seized more than 40 properties belonging to Anil’s Reliance Group, whose value is around Rs 7500 crore. This action was taken in money laundering case.
At the same time, telecom company Airtel has made a profit of ₹ 6,792 in the second quarter of the financial year 2025-26. During the July-September quarter, Airtel’s average revenue per user i.e. ARPU increased by 10% to Rs 256. Which was Rs 233 in the same quarter last year.

1. EPFO’s Employee Enrollment Scheme: Companies will enroll their old employees in EPF, will also deposit the deducted money; what is this scheme

The Central Government has launched the Employee Enrollment Scheme 2025. The objective of this scheme is to provide EPF coverage to those employees who were left out due to some reason. This scheme will run for 6 months from 1 November 2025 i.e. till 30 April 2026. In this, employers i.e. work providing institutions are being given an opportunity to enroll their missing employees.
Under this scheme, all those employees who joined the organization between July 1, 2017 and October 31, 2025 and are still working with that company will be covered. The Labor and Employment Ministry has launched this scheme on November 1, the 73rd Foundation Day of EPFO.

2. Anil Ambani’s properties worth ₹7,500 crore seized: This includes 132 acres of land in Navi Mumbai, more than 40 properties including a house in Pali Hill.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached 132 acres of land belonging to Anil Ambani’s Reliance Group. This land is in Dhirubhai Ambani Knowledge City (DAKC) Navi Mumbai, whose value is Rs 4,462.81 crore. ET has given this information quoting sources.
Earlier today (November 3) morning, ED had attached more than 40 properties belonging to the group. Anil Ambani’s Pali Hill house is also among these properties. The total value of the attached properties was said to be Rs 3,084 crore. That means till now, properties worth Rs 7,500 crore belonging to Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group have been seized.

3. Central government gave relief to pensioners: Now there will be no recovery if excess pension is received by mistake; Deduction only on fraud or giving wrong information

The Personal Ministry has issued a clarification for Central Government pensioners that if they get excess pension due to the mistake of the bank or post office, then it will not be recovered. The money will be withdrawn only if the pensioner knowingly gives wrong information or commits fraud. This rule is based on the Office Memorandum (OM) of the Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare i.e. DoP&PW dated July 25, 2024.

4. Airtel earns ₹23 more from each customer: Q2 profit jumps 89% to ₹6,792 crore; Shares rose 30% in one year

Telecom company Bharti Airtel Limited has made a profit of ₹ 6,791.7 (Consolidated Net Profit) in the second quarter of the financial year 2025-26. The company had reported a profit of ₹3,593.2 crore in the same quarter last year. It has increased by 89% on annual basis.
The company generated revenue from operations of ₹52,145 crore in the July-September quarter, up 25.73% from ₹41,473 crore last year. The amount received from selling goods and services is called revenue.

5. Slight increase in the prices of gold and silver today: Gold was being sold at ₹ 1.21 lakh per 10 grams, silver was being sold at ₹ 1.50 lakh per kg.

There is a slight increase in the prices of gold and silver today i.e. on 3rd November. According to India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), 10 grams of gold increased by Rs 7 to Rs 1,20,777. Earlier the price of gold was Rs 1,20,770 per 10 grams.
At the same time, silver increased by Rs 175 to Rs 1,49,300 per kg. Earlier its price was Rs 1,49,125 per kg. On October 17, gold made an all-time high of Rs 1,30,874 and silver made an all-time high of Rs 1,78,100.
